Sounds like a good idea, but only if you do it right. Maybe make the monsters slightly more... controllable? (I'm thinking ultra simple pokemon style) otherwise the wireless will be a 5 second battle, and at least 200% extra time for connecting and resetting the game. Perhaps have a constant connection with your buddy, so you can simply load up a new monster every time one dies to avoid re-connecting...? Another idea might be a lobby of some sort, since the battles are so fast, have it set up tournament style..?
It needs to be done, but good luck making it happen. |
