iPhone vs Google phone.. What's your view?

I am using it right now for this, and sure that may make me biast... but the g1 has an adapter for the headset now, the battery life is a little lacking but overall not unreasonable. I would say the g1 will compete pretty well with the 3rd gen iphones as well.

I know it's been said by many in the press, but the lack of copy and paste, the inaccessible battery, the absence of an expansion card (micro SD or otherwise) slot, and the missing physical keyboard make the iPhone a non-starter for me. The G1 resolves all these issues, adds in a vibrant developer community, and ties into my Google account so seamlessly that it's unbelievable.

Besides the iPhone doesn't have a multi-focus lens... which is really useful for BB.

I'd defiantly rather have the G1 than the iPhone but it does have a few issues.
There may be an adapter for the headphone socket but it doesn't come free with the phone in the UK.
I think you should be able to save your apps to the SD card, I don't listen to much music but got a free 8Gb SD card with the phone and it's sitting there doing nothing while the phone memory is almost full of apps after just 4 days.
It could do with a video recorder and camera flash (although I don't think the iPhone has these either)
The battery life really is terrible, I've downloaded the 'Power Manager' but my battery never lasts for a full day and I don't even use it as an MP3 player, imagine if I did.

FINALY something Good on the g1. Eversince the iphone & the ipodtouch started makn better apps, its been leaving the ppl wit the g1s regretting...well at least 4 me it did. Well they may hav "TOUCH-GRIND" but at least there's something alittle better 4 the g1.

All about the G2 lol. works every time no problems, outlasts my mates iphone batterywise, half the price to get on contract.
